Cambodia Volunteer Group

YouthForce ( provides cross-cultural programs to young people from around world. Our programs include Chinese young people going overseas to do internships, volunteering, culture studies, and also foreign young people, especially university graduates and people who are under 30 to come to Asia to do internships, volunteering, culture studies and join some off-the-beaten treks and so on.

VolunTourism is a new way of travelling. It involves traveling to a place to improve economic well-being, social-cultural development, or environmental conservation by providing volunteer assistance and/or goods.


*A team of both Chinese and non-Chinese, let's learn and share
* Group volunteering activities, let's brain-storm and be more creative
*A combination of volunteering and sightseeing, let's visit Angkor Wat - one of the greatest wonders on this planet

What you can do?
*Teach Chinese or English in schools or orphanages.
Games & Sports
*Organize games, teach songs or join some sport games with the kids.
Repairing & Decorating
*Repair and decorate the classrooms and do some drawings on the wall.
Assist other teachers/volunteers
*Side assist other teachers, or just accompany the kids.

*If you have some other skills/talents, don't feel shy and stand out!

Day 1
Arrival at Siem Reap, Cambodia
Check in, settle, get to know each other
Day 2
*Orientation about Cambodia, Siem Reap, Volunteering
*Half day city tour
*Welcome dinner
Day 3 to 7
Commence the volunteering in one to two placements
(school and/or orphanage)
Day 8, 9
Free time.
We will organize self-paid tour to visit Angkor Wat as a group
Day 10, July 11
Depart the program

Program fee: RMB2900

◆ Welcome package (local travel info, maps, sim card ect)
◆ Welcome dinner
◆ Orientation and half-day city tour
◆ Meals (except the last two free-time days)
◆Accommodation(Guest house in city center, maximum three people share same room, seperate bed; might be able to upgrade to single room without extra charge)

Housing and Meals
Guesthouse located in the city center of Siem Reap. Three persons in one room maximum (with own bed); possible to upgrade to single room without extra charge.
Three meals are provided apart from the last two free-time days. Food in Cambodia is southeast Asian style which include baguette sandwich, rice, noodles, soup, fruit...

About Cambodia
Once known as the Khmer Empire, Cambodia is located in the Indochina Peninsula, bordered by Thailand, Laos, Vietnam.
Agriculture remains the dominant economic sector in Cambodia, while its industrial base is weak.
We work with local schools, NGOs and orphanage to provide necessary human and material resources.

Travel tips
E-Visa is obtainable within 24 hours. We will guide you how to apply a Cambodian visa.
English is widely spoken in Cambodia main cities like Siem Reap and Phnom Penh.
Cambodian currency is Riel. US dollar can be used in various conditions in Cambodia. It is not necessary to exchange Riel in advance. Certain amount of US dollar is sufficient.

Exploring a place is always a lot of fun and at the same time for us keeping the growth which is pretty clear and have things for sure which would be working to us needs to be growing in these portions.
As a traveler its a lot of fun getting into things like which is the best part for me.
