About This Listing:
A hip, historic, and homey hutong private room located in the heart of Beijing. With access to modern amenities and all the Beijing hot spots closeby or easily within reach, your stay in Beijing will, without a doubt, be memorable and comfortable!

The Space:
This is a private room on the first floor of a modernized hutong home. It's a studio style room that is the cross between a comfy hotel room and humble home.

You get your own space with an amazingly comfortable bed (memory foam mattress pad), easy access to the 1st floor kitchen and bathroom, and a private heater / heated floors for the cold winter nights ahead. Also, the home and your room, both, have key entryways. Allowing you to have a safe place for valuable and the freedom to come and go, as you please.

The house is centrally located in the heart of Beijing and lies within walking distance to many tourist attractions. It's also notable that the house is a 7 min walk from the Yonghegong subway stop. (crossing of lines 2 / 5 and is one stop away from the Airport Express line!)

If you are looking for an authentic experience, would like to experience Chinese culture and see how the daily life in a Hutong unfolds, you are more than welcome to stay here, and we will try our best to provide you all that you need to make you feel comfortable.

The Neighborhood:
The Lama Temple, the Confucious Temple, Nanluoguxiang, the Drum and Bell Towers, Houhai lake, Tiananmen square, the Forbidden City, Jingshan park, etc. are all a short cab ride, easy subway commute, or long walk away.

It should also be noted that being in the center of city puts you right next to some of the best food and drink scenes that Beijng has to offer. Of course, Ghost street is close, but there are so many hidden gems, that often go unnoticed, that Gus and I are more than willing to help you find.

Getting around:
A few minutes north-east of our home is Yonghegong subway station which give you access to, both, Line 2 and Line 5. This will allow you to get to Dongzhimen, Sanlitun, the CBD, and Tiananmen, with ease.

There are bus stops, just off of our hutong, to the east and north of our home that will also make getting to your desired destination (798, Houhai lake, Beihai lake, the Wangfujing shopping area, etc.) easy and quick.

Taxis are also readily available, closeby, on Yonghegong Dagie or the 2nd ring road.
