Famous Bars in Beijing

Postby inbeijing » Fri Jul 11, 2014 2:13 pm

The governing principle of Beijing's bar scene has traditionally been "the Clumping Effect". The temple for this phenomenon is, of course, Sanlitun, the original bar street. Dozens of embassies in the area spurred business for the first bars, and the rest is history. Time and time again, Beijing's aspiring bar barons have followed the pattern - find a successfully bar, often one unusual in concept or execution, and open another one right next to it, with brighter lights, louder music, and a more obnoxious staff to whistle and clap at passers-by. The result of this herd mentality is that Beijing's taverns and clubs are disproportionately concentrated in a few bar districts: Sanlitun, Workers' Stadium, Chaoyang Park, Ladies' Street/Xingba Lu, Houhai/Nanluogu Xiang/Drum Tower, Wudaokou, CBD and Jianguomenwai. It is likely that as bars spread throughout the city and as increasingly sophisticated customers seek new experiences, these areas will play a less dominant role in the city's nightlife. Still, when you venture to a clump on a Saturday night, you know you won't be drinking alone.

A certain section of people would certainly get into it and also for me knowing all those portions is quite much necessary because of the way travelers goes ahead on a level for a balanced learning to me because this is what works i would certainly consider it good in terms of knowledge.
As a traveler its a lot of fun getting into things like http://bestbustours.com/3-days-from-new-york-to-niagara-corning-boston-tour.html/ which is the best part for me.
